Lady Ryoko…

She graduated from the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo, where she studied alongside M° Henriette Puig-Roget. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, she completed the Advanced Course at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome under the tutelage of M° Sergio Perticaroli. Her participation in prestigious masterclasses includes renowned institutions such as the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Liszt Academy in Budapest, and the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena.

Her talent has been recognized with numerous awards, including the “Schubert” International Competition by the Japanese Institute of Musical Education, the international competition for soloists “Young Musicians of Japan,” the “Honours Prize” at the International Music Tournament in Rome, and at the “Tersicore” Competition in Chieti.

She has performed extensively on international stages, captivating audiences in Italy, Argentina, Austria, South Africa, Germany, the United States, and Russia. Notable venues include the National Museum of Women in the Arts (USA), the National Gallery (USA), the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Conservatory (Russia), and the Saint Petersburg Philharmonia with the Ermitage Orchestra (Russia). Other distinguished performances took place at the Kammermusiksaal Beethoven-Haus (Germany), the Teatro Comunale di Bologna (Italy) with the Orchestra da Camera of Rome, and the Academy of Hungary in Rome (Italy).

In addition to her performance career, she is deeply committed to philanthropic efforts, organizing numerous artistic initiatives in support of charitable causes. These include aid for the victims of the 2011 tsunami in Japan, the 2012 earthquake in Reggio Emilia, Italy, and raising awareness for breast cancer in collaboration with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Her repertoire is deeply rooted in the works of major composers from her homeland. Furthermore, her ongoing dedication to exploring the expressive possibilities of her instrument led to an extraordinary artistic collaboration with Hungarian soprano M° Sylvia Sass.

In recognition of her contributions to the arts, she has been awarded the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary.
